Hallie Storey, Phoenix High School class of 2006, was an honors student in the Phoenix/Talent School District in Southern Oregon and a member of the National Honor Society, maintaining a 3.7 GPA. She was an All Skyline League selection in both soccer and track at Phoenix High School. Hallie practiced Akido for four years.
Hallie developed her art talents for eleven years under the mentorship of Ashland artist Craig Honeycutt. Her art interests cover a variety of forms from ceramics to sketching to painting. She has contributed the beautiful artwork for this book, “Journey Into Dreamland.” Her four visits to Western Europe have inspired a deep interest in European Art and Culture.
She attends Rogue Community College and will most likely attend Southern Oregon University to earn a degree in Business and Art.
Journey Into Dream- land is a full-size, full-color, 24-page paperback book, featuring a story that really helps kids get to sleep, quickly and easily. It was developed by dad Bill Storey for his daughter Hallie, who later created the illustrations.
